This red lentil with red cotyledon is the most produced in the world. Crimson variety is grown in the USA and Canada, it is marketed whole and decorticated.
Appearance
Small (4,5-5,0 mm) red brownish skin and redish cotyledon
Flavour
The whole lentil doesn´t brake during the cooking process, it is used in soups, stews, salads and side dishes.
